Terms of Use

Effective October 19, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and ScreenWorth (“we,” “us”) for using the ScreenWorth app and website. By using ScreenWorth, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

1. What ScreenWorth is

ScreenWorth helps you keep limits you set for yourself on your iPhone. When you reach a limit, you can walk away for free or buy an optional, temporary unlock. ScreenWorth is a self-help tool. It isn’t medical, psychological or addiction treatment, and we don’t promise any particular result.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to make purchases with your Apple Account. ScreenWorth is for managing your own phone, not someone else’s.

3. How limits work

Limits rely on Apple’s Screen Time. You can turn off ScreenWorth’s access in iOS Settings at any time. If you do, your limits stop working and the app will tell you protection is paused. Phone, emergency contacts and Clock are never blocked. Some apps or websites may not be blocked in every case, so don’t rely on ScreenWorth where safety or an emergency is involved.

4. Unlocks

5. Plus

Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple Account at the price shown before you subscribe. It renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you’re charged for the next period within the 24 hours before it begins. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account’s subscription settings. Plus adds features; it doesn’t make unlocks free or cheaper.

6. Product tests

To learn what helps people most, we may test variations of ScreenWorth, such as making unlocks free for some people for a limited time. A test never charges you more than the prices shown before you buy.

7. Challenges and fair use

In challenges, choose a display name that isn’t offensive and doesn’t impersonate anyone. Don’t misuse ScreenWorth: no reverse engineering, abusing purchases or refunds, interfering with the service, or using it against someone else’s device without their knowledge.

8. Ownership

ScreenWorth, its design and its content belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by Apple’s Usage Rules.

9. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for ScreenWorth or its support, has no warranty obligation for it beyond refunding the purchase price where the law requires, and isn’t responsible for claims about it, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

10. No warranty, and limits on liability

ScreenWorth is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using ScreenWorth and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. Purchases already completed stay subject to Apple’s refund policies.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will tell you in the app before material changes take effect. Questions? Email hello@screenworth.co.
